June 2007 Trip Report

 

On June 23rd, the troop hiked into Monte Cristo, stopping to perform a service project on the way.  This was the first overnight hike for several Scouts; everyone was successful.

 

On Sunday, several of the Scouts hiked up to the pass for a view and saw a bear while they were hiking back down to the vehicles.
